MORE than 65,000 Rolling Stones fans will see the band strut their stuff on stage in London’s Hyde Park tonight.
But for Pat Andrews, the landmark gig will be torture.
For she was the lover of the band’s late founding member Brian Jones — and the mum of his lookalike love child.
Family Guy Where My Money
And last night she accused Mick Jagger and co of “erasing” his memory from Stones history.
Pat, 68, will not be at tonight’s gig and said she was not expecting the band to say a word about the guitarist — even though they called their last Hyde Sea dragon games. Park gig 44 years ago “Brian’s real funeral”.
That concert came two days after he was found dead in the swimming pool at his Sussex home in July 1969 aged just 27 following major drink and drug abuse.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Pat raged: “The Rolling Stones will always be Brian’s band.
“I always live in hope, but they’ve never done a tribute to him. There are fans who have no idea who Brian is — and he formed the band. Really, they should have changed the name of the group once he died.”
Tonight’s Hyde Park show follows the Stones’ Glastonbury triumph last weekend, which saw them play many of their best-known hits.
Gambling in florida law. The 1969 gig marked the stage debut of Brian’s replacement Mick Taylor, who quit in 1974 but rejoined the band for their Glasto gig, much to the fans’ delight.
However Pat said: “Watching them now is like watching a balloon with the air gone out of it. I can’t bear to see or listen to them.
“I couldn’t watch their Glastonbury performance because it would get my blood pressure too high.”
And she fumed: “If I had the money, I’d pick a billboard near Hyde Park and have a big poster of Brian up there, saying, ‘I formed the Rolling Stones -- it’s my band’, just so he won’t be forgotten.”
But retired school assistant Pat has nowhere near enough money to splash out on a Brian billboard and she never received a penny in maintenance for Mark, the son she had with Brian.
She said: “Mark looks exactly like Brian but he doesn’t want people to know who he is.
“He always says, ‘Why would I want to watch the Stones?’ and feels the same as I do about them. He’d hate the intrusion and doesn’t want to cash in on his dad’s fame but I think something is owed.
“There are royalties from the Rolling Stones that they could have given me after Brian died.
“It was always a struggle for us and I’m not greedy but I was with Brian for years and always a friend to him, and we’re probably owed something.”
It is thought that Brian’s parents Lewis and Louisa received any inheritance and royalties but Pat said: “They never loved him and didn’t respect what he became.”
Classically-trained Brian put together the Stones by placing an ad in the magazine Jazz News in 1962. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards joined after auditions were held at south London’s Bricklayer’s Arms pub — and Brian came up with the band name while on the phone booking a gig.
He is widely regarded as the man who steered them towards their gritty blues sound but he spiralled into booze and drug abuse after Mick and Keith started to overshadow him and he was kicked out of the group just before the 1969 Hyde Park show. He was found dead less than a month later and Stones drummer Charlie Watts has since said: “We took his one thing away, which was being in a band.”
Pat fell in love with Brian in 1960 on a blind date in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, where he was living at the time.
She was a 15-year-old virgin with strict religious parents and he was an 18-year-old rocker who had already had a love child.
Pat said: “A friend set us up and at first I didn’t want to go. But when I first saw Brian I was dumbfounded. He had this golden mop of hair — it was like a golden halo.
“And when he played me the blues on his guitar, I was sold, hook, line and sinker.”
At the age of 18, he had already scandalised his parents by getting 17-year-old Valerie Ride pregnant. He was shipped off to Germany so his parents could save face and the child was adopted at six weeks old. Pat had son Mark on October 22, 1961, and Brian is believed to have fathered at least five love children.
Pat said: “The first time we had sex was in Brian’s parents’ house just after my 16th birthday. I was so inexperienced and I’ll never forget it.
“Mum was horrified when I realised I was pregnant but my dad was calm — he wasn’t going to see his flesh and blood kicked out on the street.”
Pat did her best to maintain a stable lifestyle in London with Brian and Mark but it proved impossible because he could not resist bedding other women. She said: “It was too much and eventually I moved back to Cheltenham. I tried never to pay attention to the Rolling Stones after that, but of course I was devastated.
“I got a package full of baby things one day but aside from that, there was very little contact.”
Pat added that while she was still with Brian, Mick Jagger made a pass at her. She recalled: “The first time Brian left us alone together, he put his arm around me, even though they were friends.
“But I brushed off the attention and said, ‘Don’t be silly, Michael’. That was as far as it went.”
But the rumour spread that Mick had bedded her and Pat fumed: “I never slept with Mick, but the story went round.
“I think the reason Mick has never contacted me is because he can’t stand the shame of it.
“If I met him I’d ask him, ‘Why did you lie?’”
She continued: “Towards the end, the band froze Brian out and he’d have to turn up and record his parts separately. The Stones just don’t sound the same without him.”
Original Stones bassist Bill Wyman said of Brian: “He formed the band. He chose the members. He named the band. He chose the music we played. He got us gigs. He was very influential, very important and then slowly he lost it and just kind of wasted it and blew it all away.”
Pat added: “When Brian died, it was such a terrible shock. For a time I just shut off. I hate watching the Stones now.
“Mick is still jealous of him, just like he was in the Sixties.
Stewie You Got My Money
“Brian is still the founder of the Rolling Stones and Mick is just as jealous of him now he’s in his grave because of that power.”

BRIAN JONES is a member of the 27 Club – a group of musicians who died at that age.
The ill-fated group also includes Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Canned Heat’s Alan Wilson – all icons who died in tragic circumstances between 1969 and 1971.
It wasn’t until the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in 1994 though that the 27 Club idea was conceived.
